The Martian (2015)

written by Drew Goddart and Andy Weir, The Martian was rated as a must-watched movie for science enthusiasts. It has also been ranked as former president Obama’s favorite science-fiction movie of the year. The masterpiece features the optimistic rescue of a man who was trying to survive on Mars alone. The movie is described as desperately breathtaking, fascinating, highlighting real and historical explosion in Space. It is mostly appreciated because of its excellent cinematography as well.

The Big Hero 6 (2015)

a scientific animated movie by Walt Disney studios is a movie describing a young energetic genius, who does not like to study but like to invent things with his own creativity. Moreover, the boy went through many obstacles in order to protect his brother’s robotic Baymax. The movie also inserted the idea that new invention was not created to serve personal interest but to serve people’s benefit as a whole when people know how to use science in a good way.

Gravity (2013)

rated as one of the movies that scientific autodidact should not miss. It details the adventure on the space of a medical engineer accompanied by an astronaut, which was distracted accidentally by a severe disaster and later found out that there is no way returning back to the earth but to undertake more risks into space in order to survive. This thought-provoking movie also implies the way that human should not give up on things easily because when there is hope, there is always a way out. On top of everything, its cinematography is merely not just beautiful but it is also a bonus to catch audiences’ attention.

Wall-E (2008)

an inspiring and thought-provoking animated movie by Pixar, is about a male robot who was abandoned on an earth setting as 700 years in the future, where people would no longer live in, trying to collect the garbage left by human and turn it into cubes. Later on, he met another robot who was on her mission to help saving the earth and that is when a robot love story started flourishing.

Meet the Robinsons (2007)

has also been ranked on top list amongst many best-animated sci-fi movie. The movie depicts a lonely young boy’s storyline who almost gave up the hope of his new creation. But later on, he is contacted mysteriously from the future world to find out some secrets. His new adventure has begun since then.

Laura Mam - Madizon Thmey

written and performed by Laura Mam, Madizon Thmey could become one of Laura’s most iconic music videos. The MV, directed by Jean Chhor, and produced by Dreamtouch Cambodia, features the high-tech Phnom Penh in the next 72 years. The video portrays a futuristic girl in 2089 entering Khmer historic museum, where she witnessed the legendary Khmer art from different periods including the 21st century, when Laura herself presiding as an artist.
